The Wye Valley has a huge range of activities on offer from easy, relaxing meanders to energetic, exhilarating thrills of climbing, caving and canoeing.

The easiest activity is walking. The Wye Valley offers opportunuties for walking enthusiasts and strollers. You can cover short stretches or whole lengths of the long distance trails such as the Wye Valley Walk, the Offa's Dyke Path National Trail and the Wales Coast Path. Many towns have local walks through the Walkers Are Welcome accreditation including Ross on Wye, Monmouth , Chepstow and Tintern this together with the Walking Festivals offer so much to the visitor.
